III Run for Srebrenica: Memorial Day 2006
(June 02/03, 2006.)
Dear friends and bikers!
It is our pleasure to inform you that our "Sarajevo Bikers Club" MC once again organizes traditional "Run for Srebrenica" titled "III RUN FOR SREBRENICA: MEMORIAL DAY 2006", which will take place on June 3, 2006 .
Also, there will be a Thank You Concert organized for all the participants and other citizens at the “Skenderija” plateau in Sarajevo, on which, besides other rock 'n' roll groups, will perform DADO TOPIC & GROUP "TIME" (Saturday, June 3, 2006), as well as the group "PARTYBREAKERS" (Friday, June 2, 2006).
We would like you to take part in these events.
PROGRAM AND LIST OF ACTIVITIES
FRIDAY, June 2, 2006 . (this day is "not obligatory" part for bikers; it is optional):
• Accommodation in the modern Auto-Camp "Oaza" at Ilidza - west side entrance to Sarajevo. Possibility of free tent placing or commercial rent of the comfortable bungalows (Camp info-phone numbers: +387-(0)33-636-140, 636-141, 636-142)
• Leisure time, "Tour 'd Pita i Cevapcici" through the town and Bascarsija
• "Meeting Point": "Skenderija" plateau as well as café "Opera" in the center of Sarajevo , across the National Theatre
• Evening hours – Rock 'n' Roll Thank You Concert for the Run-participants, as well as other citizens at Skenderija plateau: "PARTYBREAKERS" + OTHER ROCK GROUPS
SATURDAY, June 3, 2006 .
• Gathering of motorcyclists at 9.00 a.m. at the parking lot in front of «Koševo» football stadium and at 9.30 a.m. setting off towards Srebrenica
• Arrival to Kladanj around 11.00 a.m. ; short refreshment break while expecting the arrival of the motorcyclists who are coming from the North . Departure from Kladanj at " twelve noon " (at 12.00 p.m. ).
• Arrival to Potocari, tour of the Memorial Center around 1.30 p.m.
• Free of charge lunch and refreshment for the participants in Srebrenica
• Setting off towards Sarajevo through Han Pijesak around 3.30 p.m.
• Arrival to Sarajevo around 7.00 p.m.
• Promotional ride through the town
